There’s been a confirmed case at my facility, and I am concerned. Who should I speak to?
Continue to take clinical direction from the hospital and speak directly to your nurse manager about your concerns. If you need any help, in addition to the guidance of the facility clinical team, reach out to your Nomad Navigator so we can help you get your concerns addressed.
What if I’m required to quarantine by the facility because of potential exposure to COVID-19?
Nomad follows state-specific regulations for Covid-19 pay and accrual of sick time. If you have any accrued sick time, that can be used towards any pay period where you need to call out sick due to Covid-19 or other illnesses. Please contact your Nomad Navigator directly if you are quarantining due to Covid-19 so they can assist with the next steps.
After a five-day quarantine, the facility will determine your eligibility to continue your assignment. You and your Nomad Navigator will be in close communication throughout your quarantine period so we can work together with the facility to get you back to work when you are feeling well again.
